OFFICIAL NOTE

To the citizen,
NICOLÁS MADURO MOROS
President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
End of Avenida Urdaneta, Corner of Bolero, Miraflores Palace, Caracas, Capital District, Venezuela.

Through his representative, the citizen,
JOSÉ DE JESÚS SOJO REYES
Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Romania
Aviatorilor Boulevard, No. 33, 3rd Floor, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania

The Global Organization for Cooperation and Development (GOUV), in the exercise of its commitment to the defense of sovereignty, truth, and international justice, expresses its strongest condemnation of the most recent aggression by the United States of America against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and its legitimately elected President, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

We categorically reject the unfounded accusations regarding alleged “narco-terrorist” structures, which constitute a political strategy of disinformation aimed at destabilizing sovereign governments and justifying unilateral coercive measures.

We likewise condemn the systematic attack against the economies of the Global South and against the freedom and sovereignty of States governed by the rule of law and their respective constituents—a repeated practice that seeks to weaken nations which refuse to submit to the hegemonic interests of the North American empire.

The GOUV, as an organization created in the Global South, strongly rejects any attempt at manipulation or construction of narratives that collude with lies imposed to influence and distort public perception. These actions violate the right of peoples to self-determination and threaten the balance of international relations.

We declare that we remain attentive to all developments on the global stage and reaffirm our full support and solidarity with Venezuela, its legitimate leadership, and the Venezuelan people, who continue to resist in defense of their sovereignty and dignity.
